In March 2023 the author of a newly released book "Innovate HERs" and the leaders of Ward Infinity, the Social Innovation Accelerator initiative at Johns Hopkins partnered with Black Women Thriving East of the River to host an interactive discussion with Black women entrepreneurs. The event was held to offer support to women striving to build stronger businesses and a stronger community.
